MacArthur Antigua
Ivan

I spent the first 28 years of my life in Chicago. I want to help you to get everything that you could possibly want. I also want you and me to get over ourselves. Thanks for coming, and I hope to see you again real soon.

Two truths about yourself:
I have a hard time telling people "no", and I have an equally hard time hearing it from someone, especially if I've made a request; It's only been three years since I've stopped using fear as my primary motivator for success.

Two untruths about yourself:
I was in a pop boy-band called "2nd Generation" in the late 1990s that was marketed towards the lucrative Asian immigrant demographic; I was the Illinois representative in the Scripps-Howard National Spelling Bee in 1989.

Two truth/untruths:
I'm going to be a father in October 2005, and I'm one part terrified, one part excited and two parts ready for whatever;
I have psoriasis, and I'm always conscious that people are looking at my sores and lesions even if they're not there.

Todd Boring
Ivan

Todd was born in Houston, grew up in Oklahoma, and worked in Malaysia. He wants to leave this world better than I found it. One glad morning, when this life is over, I'll fly away.

Two truths:
Milwaukee's Best is great with a slice of lemon.
My best friend also happens to be married to me.

Two untruths:
I'm choosy about what I eat.
I was a basketball jock in high school.

Two truth/untruths:
I despise country music.
Baldness bugs me.

re: mankey

I've been around the world and back only to find that i've been with me all along. I want sustaned contentment (and a little validation). The Beatles' line, "There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're supposed to be," is one of the most soothing things you can tell yourself when confronted with crisis (and I don't even like the song that much.)

Two Truths:
I obsess over my weight to the point of being obnoxious; I have renounced picture-taking because I believe it inhibits experiencing life.

Two untruths:
I believe that one cannot live without cell phones and PDAs and Blackberries being plugged in all the time; I think caffeinated beverages are the devil's juic.

Two truths/untruths:
I donated lots of time and a little money to the Katrina victims; I get self-conscious when sleeping in the same room with other people.

re: mankey

Just like most people, I've had ups and downs, fell in love and lost love, and drank Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk out of the can. I have learned from all of those things that life is what you perceive it to be. If you feel unhappy, then that is what you are. If you feel as if life just keeps getting better then it is. And it is. I want the people around me to be having as much fun as I am. I want my TiVo to never fuck up and accidentally record the Mexican channel instead of "24". I want the Rockets, Astros, and Texans to always be in playoff contention. I want scientists to invent junk food that is good for you. I want to never grow old unless its with someone I love. I want my cat Paxil to quit pissing on my couch. I want to win the World Series of Poker someday. I want to win an Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy all in the same year. I want people to like me. If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.

Two truths:
I go out of my way to write emails in lowercase letters.
The first 2 times I had sex I faked it.

Two untruths:
I am one of the founders of inthevip.com.
I have never considered calling an escort service.

Two truth/untruths:
I have 3 testicles.
I don't believe in religion or God.

I started at Shy, passed Sharing and am currently at Shut up! I always want to be able to laugh, so I can keep things in perspective. My backup plan is to be famous. I thank my family and friends for always supporting what I do.

Two truths about yourself:
I am a private person; I refuse to move up in pant size.

Two untruths about yourself:
I got a Latin Kings tattoo in my young and stupid days; I am atheist

Two truth/untruths about yourself:
In an interview in third grade, I told the school paper that one of my hobbies was bullriding; I did not apply to college out of high school because I didn't want to write an essay. Same thing with grad school.

I have been Humpty Dumpty but I am the Mosaic under construction of putting the pieces back together again. I want to fully enjoy the unpredictable ride of life by: living in moments not in time, laughing a lot, always having friends to hang with, being shamelessly passionate, loving people in a way that frees them, having a man along for the adventure who I am crazy about and being a wonder-addict. If you get tired of treading water, change your stroke... or try standing up because sometimes it's not that deep.

Two truths: My passion both draws people to me and scares them;
When my parents made me baby-sit my little brothers I convinced my brothers they were lions and that the living room chairs were their lion cages and they stayed there for hours and ate mashed up cool-pops from a bowl which I told them was lion grub.

Two untruths: I love grasshoppers; I want to be a person who doesn’t realize I am telling the same story more than once to the same person.

Two truths/untruths: I once lived with a guy so scary that I looked for a 666 somewhere on his head when he was asleep; I was a short order cook at Denny’s

I have been to places nobody should ever have to go and I survived. I want what I already have. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure. - Paulo Coelho

re: mankey

In 28 years, I have been to school, to work, on dates and vacation, and want to tap into anything I missed along the way, either about myself or others. I want myself, the audience and everyone to get happy and wake up and laugh at the smallest thing in life. If you are on a MISSION, and it's in your heart, you can do things beyond your wildest dreams.

TRUTHS:
1. I am very loyal to companions.
2. I completed a several week long life guard training course but never actually used my certification.

UNTRUTHS:

2. I sleep in adult size pajamas with built-in "footies."¯

I have a passport that has no stamps in it, which is largely on part of my lack of finances. I would be pleased if I could get my act together and go back to school, start a career, & think about family; I just love living life day to day and not worrying about what tomorrow has in store. "It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock & roll..." --ACDC

Two truths about me:
I'm a sucker for homeless people on corners; I will give them money, cigs, or food, whatever their sign says! I'm a huge baseball fan.

I've been everywhere emotionally, I'm close to being everywhere physically, and mentally...I'm already there or about to. If being loved could pay the bills then that's all I would want...is to just be loved. My grandfather has been telling me for years, "You get out of life whatever you put into it," so I can't blame no one but myself if the s*&t don't come out right.

Two truths:
I am deathly afraid of snakes, snake skin, fake snakes and anything that has to do with a snake and if anyone tries to joke with me about it, I will honestly rip them a new one.
I watch movies over and over in hopes that the ending will magically change to something that satisfies me more.

Two untruths:
I like to skydive with some of my friends about once a month and wait as long as I can to pull the chute just for the adrenaline rush.
I'm an emotional eater...you cry...I cry AND I eat...a lot.

Two truths/untruths:
I sought counseling for anger management and anxiety because of my frustration and bitterness toward people who tick me off.
I like to street race every other weekend and during the week I work on my race car and keep it in my garage at my mom's house.

Born and raised in the wilds of Illinois, where I laid the foundation for what will be the rest of my life.I want to figure out what I REALLY want to do with my life, and then find the someone I want to pursue it with. I count myself fortunate that I still really believe my whole life lies ahead of me.

Two truths:
1) I was significantly overweight for most of my life, and am only recently becoming comfortable with not being so.
2) I daydream like crazy.

Two untruths:
1) I just can't find time to read.
2) I'm an attention WHORE.

Two truth/untruths:
1) I <3 shopping.
2) I truly trust almost no one.

re: mankey

I traveled a path set before me by others, then I got lost and came upon my own trail. I want success or fantastic failure. Today is a day of opportunity.

Two truths:
I am initally shy; I rearranged my class schedule in high school so I could be in more classes with the guy I had a crush on.

Two untruths:
I have a prosthetic ring finger; I bagged a deer on my first hunting trip.

Two truths/untruths:
I make a divine Chocolate Pudding Fudge. In a Playboy Special Edition: College Girls, I am on page 12.

If I ever loose my mind then it’s usually sitting next to my car keys and cell phone.

I love that when it is about to rain cats and dogs, people stand outside and predict that a “big one” is coming through. I love the frankness of that. My life has not quite come full circle in that I haven’t found the person that will clean dishes with me on Sundays, I’m still waiting on my lotto ticket to win and I dream of the day that gas gets back down to 98 cents a gallon. However on the flip side I have experienced so much because I allowed other people and friends to see my dreams and help me get to where I need and want to be. In time it will all come together and I will be able to sit back in my rocking chair with my dog by my side and predict that another “big one” is coming through south Texas.

Two Truths About Me:

I used to skip around in circles in the middle of my bedroom as a kid listening to my Disco Duck Album while riding a hobby horse. I am a terrible procrastinator, but plan on getting better at it.

Two Untruths About Me:

I love liver and onions smothered with ketchup,

I have a membership to Dog Fancy, a magazine about how you make dog clothes and accessories.

Truth/Untruth:

Since 1985 I have had a crush on Josh Brolin since I saw him in The Goonies,

I worked for the Brazos Valley Republican Party in college and was an intern.

Creativity can never be explained by appeal to reason alone. Like the birth of a child, creativity compels us not to explanation but to wonder and awe.
